Simon’s programme of Natural History Day Tours are designed for you to enjoy and experience the fantastic countryside and birds across the South-east, taking you to different habitats for birds and other wildlife in Kent, Sussex, & Surrey. Walks will be taken at a leisurely pace ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable day outdoors. Tours are self-drive unless otherwise stated.
There is a continuous programme of classes running throughout the year which enables you to observe the seasonal changes the South-east. All tours can be booked individually or for groups. They are available from 2 hours to a full day. Programmed tours below are limited to 15 people to ensure that everyone has a great learning experience.

A great day exploring this impressive site. Great birds can include Fulmars, Ravens, Peregrine, and Black Redstart. A great area for butterflies too, including migrants Clouded Yellows.
Sat 1st Sep THE WILD WHITE CLIFFS & LYDDEN DOWN

A day experiencing impressive scenery on top the White Cliffs & the rolling North Downs a short drive inland. Specialities include Silver-spotted Skipper, Adonis & Chalkhill Blues, and more.
Sat 8th Sep WILDLIFE OF WINDOVER HILL & THE CUCKMERE VALLEY

A scenic late summer walk high on the downs for Autumn Lady’s Tresses & Field Gentian, butterflies & birds. We will then move down to the Cuckmere River for wetland specialities.
Sat 6th Sep EARLY AUTUMN AT RYE

An interesting time to visit this wonderful nature reserve. There are many bird species using this reserve, and we will also enjoy the many butterflies, dragonflies & wildlflowers.
